Baton Rouge Basketball and Volleyball Association Mission Statement
At the Baton Rouge Basketball & Volleyball Association (BRBVA)/Fidelity Bank Sportsplex, we seek to provide the opportunity for the youth and adults of Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities to come together in fellowship, using athletics as the foundation. Our vision is to create an atmosphere where people of all different ages and backgrounds can benefit from physical development in the sports of basketball, volleyball and other recreational activities, therefore creating a stronger bond in our community. Instilling confidence, character, discipline, and a strong work ethic in the young men and women of our community is our organization's primary mission.
BRBVA: Community Outreach
Fidelity Bank, the Baton Rouge Basketball and Volleyball Association (BRBVA) and BREC partnered to build a new, 30,000 square-foot recreational complex.
The Fidelity Bank Sportsplex is in the heart of Baton Rouge at BREC's Perkins Road Community Park.
It is the largest indoor basketball facility in Baton Rouge and the largest indoor volleyball facility in Louisiana. In addition to being a premier basketball and volleyball complex, Team Sportsplex is home to the Red Storm Basketball and Volleyball. As well as being the host to Red Storm club practices, Team Sportsplex also hosts Red Storm's annual tournament schedule in the spring for basketball and volleyball events.
The facility houses 3 tournament play basketball courts, 4 youth basketball courts, 12 basketball half courts and 5 competition volleyball courts.
